Park Avenue Festival

Last Saturday, our son was invited by the music organizer, Duncan to join a band and play at the Park Ave Festival, in a nearby city. They played from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm.
We arrived early to have enough time for him to set up. While they were setting up, I walked around the two mile arts & crafts display and looked around. I photographed a few displays with the vendor's permission. Pictured below is a dinner napkin folded to look like flowers, and the leaves act as a ring holder...very innovative, don't you think? I would have loved to buy a set but they were a little pricey for my budget. For four-ring holders alone, you pay $25.00; napkins range from $35 to $55.00 depending on size.

These wine glasses hold candles; I was told that they give nice reflections when lighted.

I love the way the vendor displayed her rings ... it caught my attention.

And here is a picture of Duncan (with the hat), Fran and Friends. Hubby and I are guessing our son must be one of the friends? lol I took videos but they are a bit long and it will take many hours to upload to YouTube.

While listening, hubby and I had Peach Paradise tea ... very refreshing!

... picture of our lunch. I had an Eggplant sandwich with sun dried tomatoes and provolone while hubby and our son had wraps.

... chicken caesar wrap.

... saved the best picture for last. I love the sense of humor of this old lady!

... and that my friends, was how I spent my weekend! How was yours?

Very enterprising weekend you have Nance. Music and art crafts go hand in hand.

I love candles. Those ones in wine glasses are surely one of elegant and elaborate ones.

I prefer scented candles to chemical spray in my place. However, you have to be very careful and not leave them unattended for safety precaution.

As to your video, can't you download them in half in you tube? I think that requires a technique to do that.

Thanks for visiting my blog. It is much appreciated. Haven't been on here for two days, so am catching up.

A set of four-ring holders for $25.00? Er...umm...some other day.

Love those candles. I always light a scented one and place it in the sink--for precautionary measure--after I cook fish. LOL

That was a great weekend you had.

Hi, Ate Nance. I'd love seeing your son's talent in Youtube. Just keep us inform once the video is up.
You have lots of delicious foods to feast on. I also like those music arts and crafts. They're a novelty for me.
Amazing dress of that lady in the last photo. Yes, it sure looks so funny (and even just to think about it) :D

Very nice presentations of the goods being sold. Kailangan talaga eye-catching to attract attenion....

LOL on the dress the lady had on. I've seen a few pics of Japanese people wearing something like that.

Thanks for the visit and the comment Nance....appreciate it.

Have a great weekend....TGIF na bukas eh...so weekend is just around the corner.

good evening nance,

at last naka balik na ako.....

mahal kaunti ang table napkins n rings kasi handmade, ano?, and really unique ang style nya, i like it, too.

one of the friends?.....mabuti nga, ON cya kahit sino......galing nya, siguro friendly and ON cya talaga.

i like the teapot...or ano yan...milk churn-sabi ng google.....milchkanne-german.......lagyan ng gatas?...
yon nasa table...ganda ng style nya.

kanina nagpunta kami ni bernie sa city, to buy something for tomorrow....

have a wonderful weekend to you and family...............

baka, sabihin na Haciendero-Asindiro cya......heheheh

asindero----salt naman......may ari or tindero-salesman ng asin.........

thanks again...............
