Fall vegetables treat!

For Thankful Thursday that Rhondi of Rose Colored Glasses is hosting, I am really thankful for fall fruits and vegetables that are grown locally. Last Monday afternoon a friend and I took a trip to the Blueberry Farm and picked veggies that you can only find at an Asian stores. The above photo is just a sample of what we harvested. As soon as I got home, I cooked a veggie stew right away ... you can't get any fresher than that! yummy!

Fresh veggies...the best, just picked from the garden. Yummy, I love them. How I wished I planted veggies this year, but lazy me, didn't do it. Next year maybe.

Have a good one!

Nance, Nothing is better than fresh veggies. I have a feel good experience every time I make fresh veggie soup. As a little girl we lived on a farm. I remember well the vegetable garden and the delicious meals we had when our mom cooked them.

Enjoy the little things in life.

Hugs, Jeanne

Those veggies look great! I wish I was up there this weekend for the Grape Fest...I miss that alot! We would always stop in the old Cohocton General Store for bags of candy on the way back to Hornell...
