Thankful Thursday

Rhondi of Rose Colored Glasses is hosting yet another Thankful Thursday. For a list of participants, please go visit her blog.

For Thankful Thursday, I selected a few Bible reference from "Our Daily Bread" booklet.

1. We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you. (Colossians 1:3)

2. Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6:9)

3. The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9) To know that God sees us brings both conviction and comfort.

I am also thankful for this pumpkin that climbed my weigela bush, I have quite a few of them all over my yard. They were a Fall decor last year and we let them rot last winter; new growth from the seeds came up this spring. So that is the trick, leave them to the ground ... this year, I don't have to buy pumpkins, how about that? Saved me a few dollars! :)

That happened to me one time. A few scattered seeds of pumpkin sprung from the ground, and I let it crawl right there in my front yard. I should do that again, next year.

Have a blessed Thursday.

Hi Nancy,

The verses are really nice. I love checking you're blog to see what new things you have posted. I had that happen with tomatos. I must have let them rot over the winter before. In fact, last year I had an empty planter pot that just had some old potting soil in it I had sitting around for a few years, I went to plant a tomato plant in it and what do you know? It already had a yellow pear tomato plant that had sprouted up from YEARS before. Have you ever tried harvesting seeds from your flowers? That's another great way to save a few dollars. I used to do that many years ago when I was more into gardening. Have a great weekend. Will peak in next week. Love ya~ Vicky

Hello daughter (vicky)!
Glad to hear that you love checking my blog. I'll try to post more often then. Yes, every Fall I gather seeds from my zinnia, marigold, cleome and cosmos; and every Spring I have a lot of extra seeds. Want me to send some your way? :)
Enjoy your long weekend and give our love and kisses to all most specially to our baby Aiden. Can't wait to see his photo!

Naalala ko tuloy noong bata ako, even though I am a catholic, I used to attend protestant mass because of the snacks and goodies they serve after. *bad me* God forgave me kasi bata pa naman ako noon. lol! I always heard different kind of verses and memorize a few lines before. It's a nice read.

It's time to make pumpkin soup nance. :)
